Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Saloni, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform. New users must explicitly accept both policies before using the app. These terms apply to both clients booking beauty services and business owners offering them.

2. The Platform

Saloni is an online marketplace that connects clients with independent beauty businesses (salons, spas, barbers, nail studios, makeup artists and beauty clinics). Saloni is not a service provider. We do not employ, control or endorse any business listed on the Platform, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a business. The quality, pricing and legality of services are the sole responsibility of the business providing them.

3. For Clients

• You must provide accurate booking information, including your name and contact details.
• You must verify your phone number to use the Platform.
• Appointments are subject to confirmation by the salon; pending bookings are not guaranteed until confirmed.
• You may cancel a booking in advance at no charge. Repeated no-shows may result in restricted booking privileges.
• You agree to arrive on time and treat salon staff with respect.
• Payments for services are made directly to the salon unless explicitly stated otherwise; Saloni does not process service payments between clients and salons.
• Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences. Reviews are limited to one per completed appointment. Fake, abusive or retaliatory reviews will be removed.
• You may only upload content (posts, comments, reviews, photos) that you own or have permission to share.

4. For Business Owners

• You are responsible for maintaining accurate business information, services, pricing, availability and working hours, including localized fields where applicable.
• You must honor confirmed bookings and manage cancellations professionally and promptly.
• You are responsible for the quality, safety and legality of the services you provide, including any required licenses, permits and insurance.
• You may use the walk-in kiosk to record guest bookings; you are responsible for the accuracy of any guest data you enter.
• Promotions and discount codes you create must be honored as advertised during their validity period.
• You may not use Saloni to engage in unlawful, discriminatory or fraudulent activity, or to mislead clients.
• You are responsible for any content you publish (posts, stories, photos, videos) and grant Saloni a license to display it within the Platform.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Business owners can choose from the following, billed in Israeli Shekels (₪ / ILS) through Stripe:

• Free plan: limited access, can be granted free by Saloni admins.
• Monthly Subscription — ₪79.90/month: the full business dashboard with unlimited bookings and messages; renews automatically until cancelled.
• Premium Featured — ₪29.90 one-time: boosts your salon to the top of the Discover feed for 30 days; a single payment with no recurring charge.

Recurring subscriptions renew automatically on the same date each month. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Subscriptions granted free by an admin are protected from being overwritten by Stripe billing events. Refunds for billing errors are issued at our discretion. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe; we never store your full card details.

6. Your Account & Consent

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid phone number for verification. By accepting these Terms you also accept our Privacy Policy. If we materially change the policies, we may ask you to re-confirm your consent.

7. Intellectual Property

The Saloni name, logo and platform are owned by Saloni. Business owners retain ownership of their content (photos, posts, stories) but grant Saloni a worldwide, royalty-free license to display it within the Platform. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the Saloni platform without permission. Reviews and comments you submit may be displayed publicly.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Saloni for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Harass, abuse or threaten other users or salon staff.
• Post false, misleading, infringing or copyrighted content without permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, scrape or reverse-engineer the Platform.
• Create fake accounts or impersonate another person or business.
• Attempt to download or redistribute media from posts, stories or reviews outside the Platform's intended use.
• Circumvent payment of applicable subscription fees.

9. Reviews & Reputation

Reviews help build trust on the Platform. You may only review a business after a completed appointment, and only one review per appointment is permitted. Businesses may reply to reviews. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law. Attempting to manipulate ratings (your own or others') is prohibited.

10. Disclaimers

Saloni is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any booking will be fulfilled. We are not responsible for the conduct of salons or clients, or the quality of services rendered.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saloni shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months (or, for clients who have not paid us, to a reasonable minimum amount set by applicable law).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Saloni harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm other users. Upon termination, your access to the Platform ends immediately, and any active subscription is cancelled at the end of the current billing period.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Israel, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email, and where consent is required we will ask you to accept the updated Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
